Bumper Sticker Program Helps Reduce Crime

We would like you to join our neighbors in the Greater Ashburn community to assist the Chicago Police Department (8th District) and our neighborhood watch programs to protect our residents and keep Greater Ashburn safe and secure while promoting unity in our area.

In conjunction with the Chicago Police Departments Neighborhood Watch Program the Greater Ashburn Planning Association is issuing this highly reflective rear bumper sticker to all residents of the Greater Ashburn area.

The bumper sticker will be issued for free to our residents. This sticker will not only assist the Chicago Police Department to readily identify residents of the Greater Ashburn Community, it will also advertise our community while we drive throughout the Chicago and Suburban areas. The sticker promotes our area as five neighborhoods working together to reduce crime.

We would appreciate your cooperation in placing this small 3" X 2.5" sticker on the left rear bumper of your automobile. We are requesting placement on the left side of your bumper since when you park your car, the sticker will be visible to the police and neighborhood patrols.

Stickers will be distributed at all homeowner and civic association meetings, and the Greater Ashburn Planning Association office located at 8136 So. Kedzie. If those places are not convenient, then call us at 436-2482 and we will make arrangements to get you as many as you need.
